Amy + Reuben

It was a crazy busy summer with one of the highlights being my cousin Amy’s wedding to (her now hubby) Reuben. I was really excited to develop their wedding collateral and lucky for me, they were so easygoing and open to any and all of my ideas!

Their only criteria was that it’d be modern and clean with a floral aspect, perhaps a cherry blossom. Everything else was up to me.

I’m a big fan of pocket invites — both for practicality and as a design element. I love the idea of all the pieces together in one tidy package but also the fun of the reveal when you inspect each card individually.

To achieve the the right balance of modern but romantic I combined sans serif text and a line art drawing of a cherry blossom with lovely script headlines and a custom monogram. For something a little extra, everything was printed on gorgeous, shimmery Neenah StarWhite paper. All put together it was the right tone for their big day.

Programs and party favours with the same look and feel means a cohesive look from beginning to end.

Congrats Amy and Reuben!
