Remembering Italy

It has taken me a while, but yes, I'm finally getting around to telling you about my trip to Italy! My family and I went for the first two weeks of April and toured Rome, Florence, Venice, Bergamo and Milan. We started off eating fabulous olive bread, pizza, gelato and ended the trip with a bit of a twist... eating green tea Kit Kats... //Read More

Wallpaper has been around forever (it sometimes seems to last forever) and it's definitely made a resurgence back into homes over the last few years. Meri Meri

Ever since going on a diet, I've become obsessed with food. I salivate when I see food magazines. This is a fantastic idea and I love wall decals myself (there's a huge one on my living room wall) as it's an easy way of changing the space without the hassle of painting. //Read More

Measuring Up

Can you believe next week is March already?! I have a feeling this year is going to fly right by. Spring is for fresh starts and to prep for the summer that's just around the corner I'm embarking on a new diet and fitness plan. This means lots of food measuring to watch what I eat. Library of a Modern Girl

With the way technology is going, the cries of, "Print is dead!" can be heard. While I love my Apple products and dare I say, even those e-readers (despite my initial reservations) there is nothing like holding a book in my hands. I find filled bookshelves quietly comforting and curiously appealing. It's like a million different lives sitting and waiting for me to dive into. The space is limited in my tiny apartment but in the home of my dreams, I have a library. And these books would certainly be part of the collection. //Read More
