Where’s My Table?

by cassie on September 22, 2009

Weddings offer a lot of chances to be graphically creative. From invites to thank you cards and everything in between, one of the more functional pieces are the table numbers at the reception. Not only do they help your guests get to where they need to be, it’s also another way to tie everything together through print.

Christine did a really simple yet fun table chart and table markers for her friend Kari-Ann’s wedding recently. She designed their wedding invite too which you can see here. The robot theme was a big hit with the guests and perfect since the groom, Andrew, is in computer industry. Anyway, Andrew is also from Australia so instead of using traditional numbers, they chose Aussie slang instead. I just love when couples put a bit of themselves into every part of their wedding. Nice work Christine!

Cassie, absolutely loved this idea! I have never seen it before and it certainly helps to create that warm and fuzzy feel that all brides want at their reception. Aussie words are unique and your place cards would certainly been a great conversation starter for the tables. LOVED IT!
