Patterns, Pouches, Purses!

Black purses and clutches have always been a staple in my closet. But they’re not always the fun purse you want to bring to a birthday party, the beach, shopping or work. I don’t need another reminder of how dull the weather is here in Vancouver! Well today, you’re in for a treat because we have purses from Blonde Birdie that are bound to brighten your day. (and a discount code too!)

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Toronto for a wedding. I got to visit old friends and indulge in the Anthropologie sale section in Yorkville. That store does an amazing job of making you love everything they sell – pretty patterns, feminine blouses, drawer handles, stationery, etc… Seeing their stuff reminded me of my recent visit to Blonde Birdie online.

Blonde Birdie is an online shop with many treasures and delightful goodies. They recently added new colourful and lightweight bags for the summer. I’ve been looking for new pattern ideas lately, and these just might do the trick.

They’re incredibly reasonable in terms of price – take for instance the above “Tori Tote“, only $24 USD…

For those Canadian HGTV fans, the designs and patterns are very “Sarah Richardson“. Seeing my good friend Ly this past weekend turned out to be a love fest for Sarah Richardson designs and taste. Our husbands just rolled their eyes. Anyhow, what we mean by that is that she always chooses the best fabrics to inspire a room. These purses are like the fabrics she chooses to tie in all the colours, furniture and decor.

My favourite is the 70s inspired golden flower frame clutch (above). Now I just need a dress to match…

Below are more new totes for both the beach and the tiki bar at night.

  1. Thanks for the post Christine! Those purses are all so pretty, I’m just sorry I didn’t go to Yorkville when I was in TO!
