Brighten Your Stay

Last week, the announcement of the new Pantone Hotel in Brussels was all the rage. With Pantone’s hip, minimalistic yet bold personality, it’s such a smart licensing deal for this hotel to make. Pantone has slowly crept into our everyday lives with household goods, accessories or even eyeglasses. And now, it can be a part of our vacation experience. We love colour here at I’ll Know It When I See It, so we couldn’t resist finding out more.

I was amazed to see the wide array of products Pantone had gotten itself into from when we did our blog post back in March. In seeing this hotel, it’s like walking into one big swatch book or sleeping inside a colour chip. Floods of colour smartly drape walls, linens, and even glass. Choose the colour that suits your mood in this cute boutique hotel.

White offers the minimalistic canvas needed to punch out each colour. Despite its contemporary appeal, it’s actually only a 3-Star hotel. When I look up pricing online, a one night stay is just over 100 Euros a night. It seems quite reasonable.

More importantly, the pictures of the hotel bathrooms are suspiciously not available online. I like to judge a hotel by its bathrooms as it really shows the age of the hotel. Bathroom facilities can’t be easily hidden by new drapery or a fresh coat of paint.

As well, what do the hotel staff wear?

Love the concept and really wish Pantone would expand to cars. Can’t wait to see more Pantone licensing deals down the road…!

Cheers,
