When Cassie and I joined the Display & Design program at Langara, we had one type assignment and it was to carve a letter out of styrofoam and apply a faux finish. Yes, not your most environmentally-friendly project, but it was one of my favourites because I never knew I was capable of carving anything. Well, today’s post reminded me of that assignment – cool fonts designed by Handmade Font.
Not your typical hand-drawn font! Ordinary objects create your most salivating, warm or fuzzy typeface.
Handmade Font is an Estonian-based design company founded in 2008 by Vladimir Loginov and Maksim Loginov. They have built a library of dozens and dozens of cool typefaces – many which I can imagine on billboards around town and posters at bus stops.
Below is my favourite probably because I’m feeling thirsty right now after having ate a huge homemade burger.
Check out more of their cool fonts here!
