Olympic Paper Mascots

by cassie on February 19, 2010

We’re one week into the 2010 Winter Olympics here in Vancouver and the competition’s been great. I am GLUED to the TV and if I could, I’d watch it all day and night long. Needless to say, productivity has been hampered. But paper art doesn’t stop and following yesterday’s post, here are some paper toys of the official mascots for the Games. Meet the paper versions of Miga, Quatchi and Sumi.

2010 Mascot Group

Not as easy as yesterday’s animals but still fun to make and even cuter on my desk. You can print them out for free here.

Miga

Quatchi

Suma

The weather is supposed to be fantastic here so I’ll be out and about taking in as much of the Olympic experience as possible. Whatever you’re doing, I hope you have a great weekend too!

GO CANADA GO!!!

LOVE these guys, wish they’d shown up in the opening ceremonies, I never saw them there.

You’re right! The mascots usually are at the ceremony… I haven’t seen them around town either but lots of kids are carrying the stuffed toys or wearing Quatchi toques which is so cute too.

you can find the mascots at the Robson skating rink, if you’re willing to brave the massive crowds.

What, no Mukmuk???

No Mukmuk… he seems to get left out of everything!
