Olympic Designs: Part 3 and Shopping at The Bay

Happy Friday everyone! This week flew by so quickly. I wanted to end this week by showing you some of the cool installations inside The Bay. Enjoy…

Glossy canoes and Bay stripes on every wall, ceiling and table…

The kid’s section was like a playground… reminded me of my Disney days – where we had to put together “plush mountain” at the end of every night. These gravity pull tubes are so much more clever…

Replicas of the Olympic torch are on sale just behind the cash counter sponsored by Visa. Only Visa and cash accepted.

Elevator walls with giant murals from floor to ceiling.

These domed changing rooms in the kids section are pretty cool…

The pin wall is situated across from the Coke-sponsored pin-trading centre and cafe. See pictures of the Coke section here.

It’s been a long week and I’m super tired from work. But I did want to post these photos from our trip downtown. I am so excited about the upcoming Games – there’s free zip-trekking across downtown!! Scary, but so cool.

Have a great weekend everyone,

To build on yesterday's theme of packaging, thought I'd share more favourites that draw our eye in store. I had the chance to visit Phoenix a few weeks ago and walk the amazing Anthropologie store in the Scottsdale mall. Voluspa Candles and scents, another source for patterns, colour combos and "well put together" designs. // Read More
Enjoy Your Thanksgiving
Big family dinners, turkey to last you 2 weeks, Costco-sized pumpkin pie and a nice break from work. Not exactly good for my thigh-spread, but I am glad tights with big sweaters are in fashion now. In lieu of today's Thanksgiving Holiday (for Canadians), I leave you with a feature on Red Stamp and the many cards induced by traditional Thanksgiving dinners roasting in the oven. // Read More
