Call me nuts, but I don’t mind cleaning the bathroom. But if you live in a condo like myself, you probably find yourself spacially challenged. I thought about going with a blue theme in my bathroom to blend the Clorox label in with the decor, but there’s no denying it. The bleach sits with its scrubby friends behind the toilet glaringly aweful. Well maybe today, that’s about to change…
Trust me, I don’t like bleach bottles sitting out as decor. But I suppose it goes further than just the bathroom. We’re guilty in the kitchen too. And my husband and I recognized it with our new Boxing Day purchase of a 2-in-1 Umbra soap dispenser to make our counters look a bit more decent. If you’re curious about our purchase, it’s a modern looking soap dispenser that has a sponge holder built in. It’s the Joey Soap Pump. Love it.
Well, that’s why I wanted to share with you other products that make small living spaces a bit more decent – if you really need to leave them on the counter. Many of you have probably seen Daub & Bauble at some point while shopping, but it’s a worthy post. Elegant typography and bold colours may make these bottles the focal point for your entire kitchen decor! Uh, probably not, but they’re quite attractive.
Simply Floored! is a line of gluten-free cleaning products which are not tested on animals. Their value prop is “clean without the wax build up”. Power cleaning wrapped in cute labels…
Twist Clean brings fun into the mix with natural scrubbing materials that make you “look good while doing it”. Maybe there would be more Monica’s out there if people enjoyed what they’re cleaning with.
And lastly, Method - the cleanest design of them all. So elegant, so forward thinking. Love the shapes and textures of each package. If you don’t have room under your sink to store your cleansers, these wouldn’t be so bad to leave on the counter.
I have to admit, there is one exception for me. No matter how cool the design is, I will not pick up a vacuum. But thank you Dyson, for making my husband enjoy the chore. I hope you all find what works for you and happy cleaning.
