When you go to Granville Island, do you ever visit the postcard shop? I can never remember the name of the store, but it’s in one of the indoor marketplaces. You know the one – the store with postcards lining every free space in the window. You can browse from outside, even when sitting down for a coffee. Well when I was there last, I saw more great wood stationery – this time by Spit Fire Girl.
I can’t believe it’s been about 3 months since starting this blog! It only seemed like yesterday that we were writing one of our very first posts, ”Wood You?“, and gushing about notebooks with wood covers.
What drew me to Spit Fire Girl, was not only the wood postcard sitting in the window, but “My Secret Log” staring back at me in the face. I’m not sure about its message but it does remind me of a certain bathroom action! Or maybe it’s a secret tree that’s worshipped in Texas. Who knows, but use your imagination. These are eco-friendly and anti-garbage can.
When browsing her site, these cartoons made me giggle and think back to the cheesy after-school commercials on PBS.
And for the serious man parties, maybe this will make men stray from the online evites. Awesome BBQ invites which you can maybe use to keep the BBQ pit alive??!! But if you send these invites, you better have one rad party!
The below postcard would be a cool moving announcement. I wonder how Canada Post reacts to receiving wood postcards in the mail?
And lastly, Spit Fire Girl does more than postcards…
