Shadows and Silhouettes

Silhouettes have been a pretty strong design trend over the past year and really, it’s been a staple dating back to Victorian times. There’s something really refined about silhouettes and a lot can be said without the finer details.

For me, one of the best sites to visit for wonderful silhouette stationery, prints and other goodies is Le Papier Studio, which is owned and designed by Vana Chupp. I think her work captures a particular essence that convey a childlike whimsy with the perfect balance in design and detail.
