Direct and To The Point

No frills, no fluff. Say how you really feel – with clarity, honesty and good ol’ printed paper.

I came upon Set Editions, founded by Alison Riley in 2004. Letterpress and foil-stamped postcards, but cards for the practical. By practical, they are truly universal – for anyone, for any occasion.

Point #1, the Mercy Cards. Perfect for those who avoid confrontations. And where email just doesn’t cut it. Leave a little note for your lover.

Point #2, the Stop Talking cards. A box of 25 cards with two simple words. Slip it under your neighbor’s door?SetEd_stoptalking_525w

Point #3, Cardstock. A box of 40 cards for all occasions. Enough to last you the whole year and save you time from shopping. This includes cards for birthday, mother’s day, get well, new year, Valentine’s, thank you and more.SetEd_cardstock_525w

Cardstock for All Occasions

These may seem a little odd at first, but maybe it’s what you write inside the card that is most important. Not how it looks on the outside, but how it speaks from the inside. Nevertheless, use your imagination and maybe create your own back-talking cards.

Other items for sale include their chipboard postcards, gift tags and everyday letterpress cards – with my favourite being the phobias card. Enjoy!SetEd_amigo_525w

Music is a passion, a living, and a business. For many bands, it's about inspiring and making it into the millions of iTunes libraries that walk around in iPods all day. But it's about making a living with what you love doing most, working a career that's meaningful and getting noticed. (hmm, sounds familiar) So when I came across Yellow Bird Project, I thought it was such a creative way for Indie bands to do just that. // Read More
